I am a professional skipper, instructor and yacht manager based in Lymington, UK. 

My experience includes skippering over 300,000nm of ocean passages, races and deliveries; refitting, commissioning and maintaining yachts and yacht fleets worldwide; running sailing training programmes for instructors and participants of around the world races.

I am RYA Yachtmaster Ocean qualified and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Instructor and Examiner. In terms of racing experience, I have prepared yachts for and skippered a multitude of RORC offshore races, including the Sydney-Hobart Race 5 times and the Fastnet Race 2 times.

That experience shapes how I look after yachts: calm, methodical and quietly obsessive about readiness and safety. My aim is to insure that you and your yacht are prepared for passages and adventures that you wish to accomplish, whether that is confidently sailing in the Solent or accomplishing an around the world expedition.
